The question I get asked the most is “how do you balance work and motherhood, it seems so easy for you." I share this image from 10 years ago leaving Skyler for a work trip as he clung to me like a koala bear in the car trying to leave for the airport. I can tell you that the ache when I have to leave my boys is still so painful, it’s never easy...I don’t have it figured out and I was crying nonstop under those sunglasses. I will say as my boys get older they understand and appreciate having a mother that works hard for them and their future. I chose to share for anyone struggling to find their groove as a working parent to let you know Instagram posts don’t always show the reality.
