Dancing Queen Dressing

Dancing Queen Dressing

Every year, Rodger and I attend Guy Oseary's Oscar after-party, which has become so legendary, it's been coined #TheParty. The party goes late into the evening and dressing for it is similar to getting ready for a fabulous wedding, because you know you're going to be dancing all night.

For big events like this, I like to pick a dress that is comfortable and for me, this is usually a one-shoulder gown...Add some sparkle, faux feathers and fringe, and you have my ideal black-tie / red-carpet silhouette!

My dress for the Oscar party this year was from one of my favorite designers, Taller Marmo. This black sequin and faux feather gown was equal parts glamorous and comfortable - which is one of the many reasons I love Taller Marmo.

For accessories, I wore cocktail rings from David Webb and Cast, an emerald and diamond necklace from Anita Ko, along with vintage Dior earrings.
