When it comes to shoes, I feel most comfortable wearing a 6-inch platform heel, especially when I'm going out. Most of the shoes in my closet are 6-inch (150mm) heels mostly from Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent, Brian Atwood, Valentino, Alaia and Versace.
People ask me if I ever wear flats and the truth is I'm usually either wearing a ballgown or a bathrobe! Obviously for gowns, I love a really tall heel always. But when I'm at home, I usually wear some version of a flat smoking loafer. Birdies have really great flat slides in jewel-tone velvets lined in quilted satin or faux fur. I also love Jenni Kayne and Rothy's (for me and the kids) and have a bunch of their shearling slippers and loafers.
Do I own flip flops? Let's just say I'd rather go to the beach barefoot!
